Not all purchase requests are converted to purchase orders, in most cases you will only order a few items in which you will select to create a purchase... **What is a partially ordered purchase request?** Not all purchase requests are converted to purchase orders, in most cases you will only order a few items in which you will select to create a purchase order. **What should I do with the purchase request now that I have ordered what I need?** In this scenario you can close this partially ordered purchase request so you can easily differentiate it from the actual purchase requests that still need to be fulfilled to purchase orders. **How do I close a partially ordered purchase request?** **[Back Office → Purchasing → Purchasing → Purchase Requests → Search using status partially ordered](https://manage.kwentra.com/inventory/purchaserequest/)** Remember, the **Close Button** will only appear on partially ordered purchase requests. 1. Search for **Status: Partially Ordered.** make sure to adjust the **Buyer Field** correctly. 2. You will find the ordered items along with the unordered ones. 3. Click **Close** from the top right of the purchase request next to **Print, Create PO buttons.** 4. Enter the reason for closing this PR and click **Save.** 5. The PR will convert to **Read Only Mode.** Now you can easily search for closed Purchase Requests and distinguish them from the actual partially ordered requests.
