# Housekeeping Discrepancy Report

**Report Business Value:**

This housekeeping report is used to validate and monitor the actual status of the room alongside the actual number of guests occupying a room.

This report is essential for housekeepers to report if there's any discrepancy between what the reservations/front desk teams have added on the reservation and the actual situation.

Example 1: the housekeeper found that the room has 2 adults and 2 kids while the reservation is created for 2 adults only.

Example 2: the housekeeper found that room 101 is vacant on the system while there's guests occupying the room with no reservation.

*N.B: this report can only run on today's date "current system date".*

##### **How it works?**

**[Reports → FO → Housekeeping → Housekeeping discrepancy](https://manage.kwentra.com/reports/Housekeeping/Housekeeping%20Discrepancy/)**

1. Select today's date or the current system date.
2. Choose to **Preview** or the **Export** option you desire i.e. Excel "XLS / XLSX / ODS" or PDF.

**Report Column Outcome:**

* **Date:** returns the current audit date of the system you are running the report for.
* **Room Number & Type:** returns the room number and its type.
* **Expected State:** returns the expected condition of the room whether it's expected to be occupied or vacant.
* **Actual State:** returns the actual input from the housekeeper whether the room is actually occupied or vacant.
* **Expected Adults/Children:** returns the expected number of guests for each room number.
* **Actual Adults/Children:** returns the actual input from the housekeeper whether there's a change in the number of guests in each room.
