The Channel/Nationality Daily Summary shows each day's in-house, arriving and departing guests, by channel or nationality. ### **Business Value** * Shows in-house, arrival and departure counts for every day in the range. * Splits the counts by channel or by guest nationality. * Counts reservations, adults and children separately. * Counts guests by gender. * Gives totals for the whole date range. ### **Use Cases** * A front office manager checks which channels bring the most guests each day. * A sales manager reviews the guest nationalities for the month. * A reservations manager plans staff for days with many arrivals. ### **How It Works** | **Where:** [Reports → FO → Reservation → Channel/Nationality Daily Summary](https://manage.kwentra.com/reports/Reservation/Channel/Nationality%20Daily%20Summary/) | | - | #### **Running the Report** 1. **From date** and **To date**: pick the first and last day to show. The Hijri date shows under each field. 2. **Group by**: choose how to split the counts. * **Channel** (the default): one row per channel. * **Nationality**: one row per guest nationality. 3. **Show ages**: **No** (the default) or **Yes**. **Yes** adds columns that count guests by age group. 4. **File type**: **XLS**, **XLSX**, **ODS** or **PDF**. 5. Click **Preview**, **Download** or **Print**. Channel/Nationality Daily Summary filters with the Group by list open: Channel, Nationality #### **Report Layout** * The report shows one block for each day, under the date. * Each block has one row per channel, or per nationality. * The last block, **Total**, shows the totals for the whole date range. The hotel, user and channel names are not real. | | - | #### **Report Columns** | Column | Description | Example | | - | - | - | | **Channel** | The channel, or the nationality when **Group by** is **Nationality**. | Reception | | **Inhouse Reservations** | Reservations staying that night. That day's arrivals count, departures do not. | 223 | | **Inhouse Adults** | Adults in those reservations. | 683 | | **Inhouse Children** | Children in those reservations. | 0 | | **Arrival Reservations** | Reservations arriving that day. | 4 | | **Arrival Adults** | Adults in the arriving reservations. | 8 | | **Arrival Children** | Children in the arriving reservations. | 0 | | **Departure Reservations** | Reservations leaving that day. | 54 | | **Departure Adults** | Adults in the departing reservations. | 186 | | **Departure Children** | Children in the departing reservations. | 0 | | **Male** | Guests whose guest profile says male. | 2 | | **Female** | Guests whose guest profile says female. | 1 | | **Unspecified Gender** | Guests with no gender in their guest profile. | 2 | | **Note:** Fill in the gender in guest profiles.
