# Confirmation Number Column in the Reservation Listing

> Add a Confirmation no. column to the Individual Reservations listing to read confirmation numbers straight from the list.

The Individual Reservations listing can now show a **Confirmation no.** column.

### **Business Value**

* Read confirmation numbers without opening each reservation.
* Speeds up matching guest enquiries to the right booking.
* Sort the listing by confirmation number in either direction.
* Keeps the column off until you switch it on.
* Remembers your choice on every device you sign in from.

* Front desk agent looks up a caller's confirmation number straight from the list.
* Reservations manager sorts by confirmation number to review a batch of bookings.
* Night auditor exports the listing with confirmation numbers included for a handover.

### **How It Works**

The confirmation number identifies a reservation to the guest, but it used to be visible only inside the reservation itself. It is now available as a column you can add to the listing.

#### Showing the column

Open the column configuration from the wrench icon above the listing. **Confirmation no.** appears in the list of available columns and is **off by default**.

* Tick **Confirmation no.** to show the column. Each row displays that reservation's confirmation number.
* Untick it to hide the column again. Your other columns are left exactly as they were.
* A reservation with no confirmation number shows an empty cell.

#### Sorting by confirmation number

Click the **Confirmation no.** header to sort the listing by confirmation number ascending, and click it again for descending — the same behavior as the other columns in the listing. Reservations with no confirmation number are grouped together.

| **Note:** Your column selection is saved against your own user, so it survives a page refresh, a sign-out and sign-in, and applies on any browser you use. It does not change what anyone else sees. |
