# How do I quickly edit my reservations and assign rooms?

In the day to day busy operations of your hotel and would like to quickly edit any of the reservation details or quickly assign/change room numbers.

With the new reservation screen pop up you will get the option to quickly modify the reservation details:

* Update rate plans
* Change room types
* Assign/modify room numbers

**[Front Office → Individual Reservations](https://manage.kwentra.com/frontoffice/#/individualreservation)**

1. Click on the room number or room type or rate hyperlinks to open the reservation pop up.
2. The reservation pop up will appear with a focus on the rate plan section.
3. From here you can assign rooms, change rate plans or change room types as you want.
4. If you wish to change/modify any of the reservation details just open the section to get the option to edit.
5. Click **Save** so as not to lose your changes.

***Update: 29th of May, 2022***
When you change the room number on the reservation it will automatically update the room type without the need of changing the room type first.

1. Open any reservation pop up.
2. Click on the room number magnifying glass.
3. Choose the room number of the new room type.

If this is not a free room upgrade then the room type will be automatically selected and the new rate of the new room type will reflect automatically.
