Generating a proforma for a reervation helps you see the projected revenue entries before they apply to the billing screen.
**What is the benefit?**
* Proformas help you see the guest's invoice and the projected revenue before they apply on the billing screen.
* Proformas help you see the projected entries if there's any charging instructions coming from another reservation before they apply to the billing screen.
* Proformas help you see if there were deposits made by the guest what is the remaining amount to be paid.
**How to generate a proforma?**

You can generate the proforma to an empty billing screen and it will generate the expected billing charges whether from the reservation itself or coming from a charging instruction.
If there was a deposit paid, the proforma will indicate the open balance which is the remainder that the guest should pay.
