The **Bulk Unassign Rooms** enhance front office operations with the following: * **Save Time** – Unassign rooms for multiple reservations simultaneously instead of editing them individually. * **Reduce Errors** – Validations ensure only eligible reservations are unassigned, preventing mistakes. * **Improve Room Availability** – Quickly free up rooms for reassignment when needed. * **Enhance Front Desk Efficiency** – Simplifies reservation management for a smoother workflow. You can use the **Bulk Unassign Rooms** when you would like to: 1. **Quickly reallocate rooms** if, for example, a group was assigned a block of rooms in which some of the rooms need last-minute maintenance. 2. In rare **overbooking cases,** rooms are quickly unassigned to redistribute your guests. 3. **Adjust Group Reservations**– Unassign rooms in bulk to accommodate changes in group bookings. 4. **Fix Room Assignment Mistakes** – Correct errors by removing assigned rooms from multiple reservations at once. ### **How do you use the Bulk Unassign Rooms feature?** * Go to **[Front Office → Individual Reservations](https://manage.kwentra.com/frontoffice/#/individualreservation)** * Select multiple reservations in the **"Expected"** state only. * Click **Actions.** * Select **Unassign Rooms.** * Confirm the action. **Remember:** * Only "Expected" reservations can be unassigned. * A message appears if a room is in another state: "Reservations state has to be only **Expected**." * If **the Do Not Move Room** option is enabled, a message will appear: "Can’t Unassign Room On Reservation With **Don’t Move Room**."
