### **Business Value**

* Replaces the daily manual Excel copy-work kept per hotel.
* Compares every hotel's day directly — one column per calendar day.
* Guarantees figures match what the single-property reports show.
* Returns meaningful figures for future days, not just closed ones.
* Covers forecast, reservation counts, occupancy, revenue and yield in one file.

### **Use Cases**

* Group financial controller runs one report each morning instead of collating twenty workbooks.
* Revenue manager compares ADR and RevPAR across all properties for the same day.
* Operations director reviews arrivals, departures and guests in house for the coming week.

### **How It Works**

| **Where:** Group Dashboard → Reports → Daily Hotel KPIs |
| - |

#### **Running the Report**

1. Open **Reports** from the Group Dashboard and select **Daily Hotel KPIs**.
2. Set **From date** and **To date**. Both are required.
3. Optionally select one or more **Hotels**. Leaving it empty runs the report across all of the company's hotels.
4. Click **Download**. The report is download-only (XLSX) — there is no on-screen preview.

| Note: Demo instances and the head office instance are always excluded, whether or not you select hotels explicitly. |
| - |

#### **Sheet Layout**

* One column per calendar day in the selected range.
* Hotels appear as row blocks — the hotel name, then that section's three figures.
* An **All Hotels** block at the bottom carries the portfolio totals.
* Totals are true portfolio calculations, never simple averages of the hotel rows. Portfolio ADR, for example, is total revenue divided by total nights sold.
* The header row and the hotel and figure columns stay frozen while you scroll.

#### **Report Columns**

The report is split into four sections, each on its own tab.

| Section (tab) | Figure | Definition |
| - | - | - |
| Forecast | Arrival | Reservations arriving on the date. |
| Forecast | Departure | Reservations departing on the date. |
| Forecast | GIH | Guests in house that night — adults plus children. |
| New, CXL, No Show | New Res. | Reservations created on that date. |
| New, CXL, No Show | CXD Res. | Cancellations counted on the day the cancellation was recorded. |
| New, CXL, No Show | No Show | No-shows counted on the day the no-show was recorded. |
| Occ, ADR, T.Rev | Occupancy % | Occupied room nights ÷ available rooms, as in the Occupancy Consolidated report. |
| Occ, ADR, T.Rev | ADR | Net room revenue ÷ room nights sold, as in the ADR Consolidated report. |
| Occ, ADR, T.Rev | Total Revenue | Total net revenue for the day across all revenue departments. |
| Rates & Yield | Net Selling Rate | Net accommodation price including included packages ÷ room nights sold. |
| Rates & Yield | RevPAR | Net room revenue ÷ available rooms, as in the RevPAR Consolidated report. |
| Rates & Yield | TREVPAR | Net room-rate revenue ÷ available rooms, as in the Insights Performance Report. |

| Note: Cancellations and no-shows are counted on the day they were recorded, not on the arrival date. A reservation arriving 15 August that is cancelled on 24 June counts in the 24 June column. |

#### **How Total Revenue Is Built**

The report is designed to be run for future date ranges, so Total Revenue is assembled from two sources and no section comes back empty simply because the day has not happened yet.

* **Days already closed by night audit** use the actual posted revenue — identical to "Total Rev" in the Insights Performance Report and "Total Net Revenue" in Daily Results. This includes revenue that never sat on a reservation, such as walk-in POS and F\&B.
* **Days not yet closed** — today's un-posted nights and every future day — use the expected revenue from what is currently booked: net room rate plus included packages, fixed charges and add-on packages carried on the reservations for that night, across all departments, excluding cancelled and no-show reservations.
* A day part-way through posting sums both: what has posted so far, plus what is still expected from the nights not yet posted. A night's revenue is counted once and only once.

| Note: Because only booked items exist ahead of time, the expected figure for a future day excludes walk-in and unbooked spend such as POS, F\&B and extras added during the stay. A future day will normally read lower than that day's eventual actual. This is expected behaviour, not a data gap. |

#### **Permission**

Access to the report is controlled by its own permission, assigned to the Multi Property Financial Controller role.
