Send a restriction to one channel for the room type and rate you choose.

Apply a Room Restriction on a Channel

Example: a restriction on the “Expedia” channel

The page below opens. Start with the room type you want to restrict.

1. Select the room type, then click Next.

The room type you selected stays on screen while you choose the rates.

2. Select the rate, then click Next.

You have the room type and rate. Now choose the type of restriction to send.

Restriction Types:

• Closed Out: stops all reservations for this room type and rate between two dates.
• Length of Stay: sets the number of nights a reservation must have between two dates.
• Arrival & Departure: stops new reservations from arriving or leaving on certain dates.

In this example, the restriction is for the Deluxe Room, BB Rate. It sets a Minimum Length of Stay of 3 Nights, from 1 April 2019 to 30 April 2019. Click Submit to send the restriction.
