Report Business Value: This Housekeeping Report is very useful to keep track of the housekeeping change of status, whether it was done manually by a housekeeping user or done automatically from the system.
  • Track the date and time of the state change.
  • Track which user performed the action to change the housekeeping state on the system.
  • Monitor the housekeeping state change triggered by the completion of housekeeping tasks.
  • Monitor the state change triggered by the night turn or reservation check-out.
How it works?
Reports → FO → Housekeeping → Housekeeping State Change
  1. Select the date range you would like to see the state change for.
  2. Room “Optional”: choose to run the report for specific room numbers, if left empty the report will return all the room numbers.
  3. Room Type “Optional”: choose to run the report for specific room types, if left empty the report will return all the room types.
  4. Username “Optional”: choose to run the report to see the actions taken by a specific user, you will only get the users that are given the Housekeeping Permission.
Report Column Output:
  • Room Number & Room Type: returns the room details “number and type”.
  • From State: returns the housekeeping state before the change.
  • To State: returns the housekeeping state after the change.
  • Username: returns the user who took the action on this room number, if its showing admin then this is an automated change performed by the system.
  • Date/time: returns the date and time of the action.
  • Audit Date: returns the system date when the action was taken, whether manually or by the system.
  • Description: shows the nature of the change like the below inputs:
Manual: means that a housekeeping personnel changed the state of the room manually. Night Turn: means that the change was triggered as an effect to the night turn, in that case the username will show that admin is the user that took the action. End of housekeeping task: means that the state change was triggered after a housekeeping personnel finished a certain housekeeping task. Check Out: after any reservation checks out the system automatically sets the housekeeping state to dirty, in that case the username will show that admin is the user that took the action.
