Cancellations in separate folios now show correct amounts instead of zero. Business Value

How It Works Understanding the Setting
Front Office → Reservation → Billing → Folio
The behaviour is governed by the “Show cancellation in folios” system setting. This fix refines how that setting applies when postings span multiple folios. Previous Behaviour (Fixed)
  • When “Show cancellation in folios” was OFF, the system excluded ALL cancelled and cancellation postings, even if they were in different folios.
  • This caused folios to show 0 amount in the body while tax tables and footer still showed correct values.
New Behaviour
  • When “Show cancellation in folios” is OFF, only cancel/cancellation posting pairs in the SAME folio are hidden together.
  • If the original cancelled posting is in Folio A and its cancellation is in Folio B, both postings are shown (original positive in Folio A, cancellation negative in Folio B).
  • Tax calculations align with the visible postings on each folio.
If both the original and cancellation posting exist in the same folio, they continue to be hidden together when the setting is OFF — behaviour unchanged for same-folio pairs.
