How It Works
Running the Report
Date: Select the reporting date. The report shows one column per month from January through the month of the selected date. File Type: Choose the export format — XLS, XLSX, ODS, or PDF. Available actions: Download | Preview | PrintReport Layout
- Accounts are organized into sections (e.g., Expenses) and grouped under an account-family header (e.g., 1030 Rooms Payroll Expense).
- Each group lists its individual GL accounts (code and description), with a subtotal row for the group.
- One amount column appears per month of the year up to the selected date, followed by a Total column.
Report Columns
Update: June 14, 2026
Zero Balance Filter
The report now lets you hide rows where every amount column is zero, keeping the output focused on active accounts. What’s New?
A new Zero Balance parameter is added. Set it to Don’t Show (default) to exclude any account whose amounts are all zero, or Show to include every GL account regardless of activity. How It Works
- Don’t Show (default) — hides any row where all month columns and the Total are zero.
- Show — displays all GL accounts, including those with no activity in the period.
