How It Works
Running the Report
Use Download to export, Preview to view on screen, or Print to send it to a printer.
How the Level of Detail Changes the Output
The report is laid out as one column block per room type (or room category), with dates down the left and a Total block on the right. The level of detail decides how many columns each block has.
At the Detailed levels the report also adds a Total row at the bottom, summing each column over the whole date range.
Report Columns
The report header carries the property name, the user who ran it, the run timestamp, and the reported date range.
Update: July 30, 2026
Room Type Filter Hides Room Types With No Rooms
The Room type filter now lists only room types that have at least one room mapped to them. What’s New?
Room types with no rooms mapped to them no longer appear in the Room type filter. Retired room types stay in the system because historical reservations still reference them, but they are hidden from the filter instead of sitting there as options that return nothing. How It Works
- Run the report from Reports → FO → Reservation → Occupancy By Room Type.
- Open the Room type filter — only room types with at least one room mapped to them are listed.
- Map a room to a room type and it appears in the filter again; unmap every room and it disappears.
