Report Business Value: Occupancy statistics report is very useful to keep track of Occupancies through different channels. you can run this report historically or in the future. Once you run the report you will see all the days of the report on the left side to report daily metrics.
  • Shows on a daily basis the number of rooms and guests coming from a certain channel.
  • Shows on a daily basis the available rooms to be sold and the occupancy percentage.
  • Shows on a daily basis your out-of-order rooms, complimentary and house-use reservations.
  • Shows on a daily basis the arrival and departure rooms you have at your hotel.
How it works?
Reports → FO → Reservation → Occupancy Statistics
  1. Select the date range you would like to view this report.
  2. Columns: if selected detailed it will return the number of adults and children, room revenue, ADR, and the total number of rooms coming from each channel on these selected dates.
  3. Columns: if selected simplified it will return the total number of reservations coming from each channel on these selected dates.
  4. Columns: if selected simplified without channels it will return the total rooms alongside the daily operational data for these selected dates “total rooms, occupancy, out of order, etc.”
  5. Choose whether to show the complementary and house-use rooms in the report or not.
  6. Choose whether you would like to view the confirmed reservations only, tentative reservations only, or all.
  7. This report gives you the ability to view all the reservations, confirmed reservations only or the reservations that are yet to be confirmed in order to properly know your occupancy statistics including/excluding the tentative reservations.
  8. To view this report efficiently, the report search parameters defaulted so that you only click preview or download and save time:
    1. From Date: report start date will always be your current system date.
    2. To Date: will be 2 weeks into the future from today’s date.
    3. Columns will be defaulted to be simplified without the channels.
    4. Complimentary & House Use rooms will be shown by default.
    5. Reservation Confirmation will be defaulted to the confirmed reservations only.
Report Column Output: This report is grouped by channels horizontally and the daily reports for each individual day vertically. For each Channel the below columns will be available if you run the report using “detailed columns”:
  • Adults: returns the number of adults coming from this channel on the report’s selected dates.
  • Children: returns the number of children coming from this channel on the report’s selected dates.
  • Rooms: the number of rooms coming from this channel on this report’s selected dates.
The Report Columns that would appear if you run the report using “simplified without channels columns”:
  • Total Rooms: returns the total number of rooms at your hotel.
  • Out of Order: returns the number of rooms that are set to be out of order on that specific date.
  • Available rooms: returns the number of rooms that are available to be sold to guests on that specific date.
  • Occupied rooms: returns the number of rooms that are occupied by guests on that specific date.
  • Occupied % returns the percentage of occupancy “occupied rooms/available rooms”.
  • Rooms to sell: returns the available rooms to sell to guests on this specific date.
  • Paid rooms: returns the number of rooms that will be paying for their reservation “not complimentary nor house use”.
  • Arrival rooms: returns the number of rooms arriving on this specific date.
  • Departure rooms: returns the number of rooms leaving on this specific date.
