Report Business Value: Control Panel report is very useful to keep track of occupancies. you can run this report historically or in the future. Once you run the report you will see all the daily metrics of the report on the left side and the dates on the top side.
  • Shows on a daily basis the number of rooms and guests.
  • Shows on a daily basis the available rooms to be sold and the occupancy percentage.
  • Shows on a daily basis your out-of-order rooms, complimentary and house-use reservations.
  • Shows on a daily basis the arrival and departure rooms and guests you have at your hotel.
How it works?
Reports → FO → Reservation → Control Panel
  1. Select the date range you would like to view this report.
  2. Columns: It will return the total rooms alongside the daily operational data for these selected dates “total rooms, total pax, occupancy, out of order, etc.”
  3. Choose whether to show the complementary and house-use rooms in the report or not.
  4. This report gives you the ability to view all the reservations, confirmed reservations only or the reservations that are yet to be confirmed in order to properly know your occupancy statistics including/excluding the tentative reservations.
  5. To view this report efficiently, the report search parameters defaulted so that you only click preview or download and save time:
    1. From Date: report start date will always be your current system date.
    2. To Date: will be 2 weeks into the future from today’s date.
    3. Complimentary & House Use rooms will be shown by default.
    4. Reservation Confirmation will be defaulted to the confirmed reservations only.
Report Column Output: This report is grouped by dates horizontally and the daily metrics for each individual day vertically. The Report Columns that would appear if you run the report:
  • Total Adults: returns the total number of adults at your hotel.
  • Total Children: returns the total number of children at your hotel.
  • Total Pax: returns the total number of adults and children summed together at your hotel.
  • Total Rooms: returns the total number of rooms at your hotel.
  • Occupied Rooms: returns the number of rooms that are occupied by guests on that specific date.
  • Arrival Rooms: returns the number of rooms arriving on this specific date.
  • Arrival Pax: returns the total number of adults and children summed together arriving on this specific date.
  • Departure Rooms: returns the number of rooms leaving on this specific date.
  • Departure Pax: returns the total number of adults and children summed together leaving on this specific date.
  • Rooms Available: returns the number of rooms that are available to be sold to guests on that specific date.
  • Out of Order: returns the number of rooms that are set to be out of order on that specific date.
  • Complimentary Rooms: returns the number of rooms that are set as complimentary on this specific date.
  • House Use Rooms: returns the number of rooms that are set as house use on this specific date.
  • Rooms to Sell: returns the available rooms to sell to guests on this specific date.
  • Paid Rooms: returns the number of rooms that will be paying for their reservation “not complimentary nor house use”.
  • Occupied %: returns the percentage of occupancy “occupied rooms/available rooms”.
  • Occupied % - Comp: returns the occupancy percentage minus the complimentary reservations.
  • Occupied % - HU: returns the occupancy percentage minus the house use reservations.
  • Occupied % - Comp/HU: returns the occupancy percentage minus both the complimentary and house use reservations.
