What Is the FIAS Protocol?

  • FIAS stands for Fidelio Interface Application Specification.
  • It is a standard way for third-party systems to exchange data with Oracle Hospitality OPERA systems.
  • A system uses its record types and fields to build the functions an interface needs.
  • In short, FIAS is the language Kwentra uses with third-party systems, such as door locks and spa software.
What you can do with it:
  • Post charges.
  • Share guest data: check-in and check-out, messages, bill display and remote check-out.
  • Use key services (door locks).
  • Share room data.
  • And more.

They are fields you choose to send from Kwentra to the third-party tool.

How It Works

  • You can define up to 10 fields to send through FIAS.
  • The right side lists the data you can send.
  • Copy the field you want. Paste it on the mapping screen on the left.
