Business Value
- Charges a whole group in one step.
- Uses each reservation’s own stay dates.
- Blocks a second charge on the same night.
- Lists every reservation it skipped, and why.
Use Cases
- Front desk agent charges half board to a twelve-room group.
- Reservations manager adds a daily transfer fee before arrival.
- Night auditor checks the results list to confirm every room was charged.
How It Works
A fixed charge covers one room night. A seven-night stay needs seven charges. Add Fixed Charge now does this for many reservations at once.
Selecting reservations
You can only charge Expected and Checked In reservations.- Any other status gives an error: “Only Expected and Checked In reservations can be selected.”
- The dialog does not open. Nothing is created, not even for the valid reservations.
- Remove the wrong ones and try again.
Entering the charge
Fill in Department, Amount, Currency and Comment once. Then choose the nights.- Apply to all nights off — use From and To. Each reservation is charged only for nights inside that range.
- Apply to all nights on — the date fields switch off. Each reservation is charged for its own full stay, arrival to the night before departure.
What gets skipped
The last one stops double-charging if you run the action again. You can still add a second charge from the reservation itself.
